Ageing on Farm study

Researchers at La Trobe University and Cultivate Farms are seeking volunteer research participants to be involved in a study about older Australian farmers’ decision-making about their futures and future of their farms. This study will help us to learn how to better support Australian farmers to do farm succession planning and develop resources to help them with this.

You May Qualify if You

  1. Are an Australian farm owner aged 50 years or older
  2. Are comfortable communicating in English

Participation involves

  1. Completing an interview with a La Trobe University researcher by telephone or videoconference, lasting 60-90mins
  2. Reading The Cultivate Farm Ageing on-Farm Guide (We will give this to you, it takes about 30mins to read)
  3. Completing a second interview with a La Trobe University researcher by telephone or videoconference, lasting 60-90mins

Reimbursement for participation

There are no additional costs associated with participation in this research study, nor will you be paid for participating.
