Researchers at La Trobe University and Cultivate Farms are seeking volunteer research participants to be involved in a study about older Australian farmers’ decision-making about their futures and future of their farms. This study will help us to learn how to better support Australian farmers to do farm succession planning and develop resources to help them with this.
There are no additional costs associated with participation in this research study, nor will you be paid for participating.
If you would like more information or are interested in being part of the study, please contact:
We provide a succession option which is a win-win for you and your community.
You can retain ownership, provide mentoring to the new family and ensure your community thrives because you are fostering the next generation of farmers.
We connect you with young passionate farmers who will love your farm as much as you do. There are many different ways that you can transition off your farm as you enter retirement.
You don't have to sell and walk away. We can help find an aspiring farmer who can purchase some equity and manage the farm, which allows you to step back and become the Chairperson rather than the CEO. Get in touch with us and we would be happy to discuss different ways that you can support a new farming family, grow your farm and support your local community.
