Farming Operation
Seeking to match an aspiring farmer to an investor with a cattle lease opportunity in Queensland or NSW.

Future Requirements

What is the opportunity?
Cattle trading The investor will provide a facility to purchase cattle. The cattle are purchased and placed on the aspiring farmer’s property. The aspiring farmer is then responsible for the management of the cattle. The aspiring farmer is charged an Admin Fee (for Purchase), Marketing Fee (for Sale) and a lending rate on the delivered price (can include transport if needed). This will be discussed in detail when the aspiring farmer is matched to the investor. When the cattle are sold the aspiring farmer then receives the proceeds after the above fees are taken out. The opportunity would work on around a 200-day Stockton. 2. Livestock breeding The second model is for breeding stock which will help aspiring farmers build herds and existing farmers scale up their herds The investor provides a facility to purchase cattle and place them on the aspiring farmer’s property The aspiring farmer is then responsible for the management of the cattle. The aspiring farmer is charged % of the purchase price to lease the animal plus an Admin fee. When calves are weaned there are several options: a) they enter the 1st system as trading stock and the investor buys them off the aspiring farmer. The aspiring farmer can use the funds for cash flow or pay down the value of their cows b) Sell all stock. Then the aspiring farmer can use the funds for cash flow or pay down the value of their cow c) mixture of the above eg, sell steers and aspiring farmer buys back the heifers to build the breeder herd. Also, in this case, the investor would break down the costs and bill the aspiring farmer monthly. This generates cash flow for the investor but also keeps the cost of the stock down. Legally it would involve a 'Right of Entry' PPSR and NLIS third-party access
