What have you been doing to get farm ready?

I lease 5 acres where I have 10 chickens, 4 Sheep, 2 cows with 2 calves each. I am looking at leasing 30 acres where I intend to raise 30 head of beef using mob grazing methods. I have a few years experience with pastured poultry raising 100 meat chickens per month using chicken tractors. I have a few years tractor experiance raking hay for baling

Why are you passionate about farming?

I want to feed my family and friends real food grown locally, with no antibiotics where posible for a healthy life buy and sell local food no food miles

Best days of being a farmer:

in South Gippsland own a farm that backs onto a state park, raise organic grass fed beef, pork, sheep, chickens ducks and turkeys also have 1/4 acre of market garden, value add on farm to provide all direct to CSA members
