What have you been doing to get farm ready?

I have various qualifications and subsequent experience. I would be farm ready post 2020, as I am currently Owner Building a house.

Why are you passionate about farming?

I believe we need to move more progressively towards sustainable farming. Diversifying and local processing is also important.

Best days of being a farmer:

I would like to be custodian of a property that is as self sufficient as possible. A heard of dairy goats that can be milked in the paddock by mobile dairy once or twice a day, milk processed on farm and distributed locally, nationally. Diversifying in possible solar farming that are high enough to avoid damage from stock, such as the piolet project conducted by Gatton Uni. Regenerative agriculture where pastures are able to seed to be sustainable. Water, the million dollar item, bore or creek, solar pumped to holding tanks. Opportunity to help returning service men or women with employment.
