What have you been doing to get farm ready?

Our experience in Permaculture has been life changing. From managing a fully functional permaculture educational system in the Northern Rivers in NSW to Project managing and installing regenerative and permaculture farms around the world while also teaching and educating in this field has equipped me with the needed skills to start and run my own operation.

Why are you passionate about farming?

I studied food technology and manufacturing in University out of passion, I enjoyed the studies, but when I stated working in the food industry in factories and laboratories I felt something was missing . It wasn't until I started volunteering on organic and permaculture farms that I understood what I was missing. Growing food from seed to kitchen and completing the cycle was an experience that changed my whole outlook on my career and that's when I decided that's what I want to do forever. I learned and belief that farming can be regenerative, meaning that it can be a solution to a lot of the worlds problems, from erosion to pollution to climate change and that with right way of farming we can be creating a better place for our children and generations coming .

Best days of being a farmer:

My dream farm would involve growing all fruits, vegetables, grains and animals. I would strive for it to be a closed loop of nursery growing systems, to main cropping, to orchards for fruits, and grazing systems for large and animals while the small animals are expressing their intrinsic habits and living in habitats that suit them. recycling the biomass to increase fertility through composting while harvesting water in small water features on in the soil through the correct redesign of the landscape and earthmoving. It would also be an education and demonstration site where people can come and learn and also food processing facility to add value to what we produce and show that regenerative farming can be profitable while regenerating the land.
