What have you been doing to get farm ready?

Having been raised on a farm my entire life, I understand the ins and out of running a farming business quite well. I have since began work as a Stock and Station agent, further developing my knowledge for the industry.

Why are you passionate about farming?

My passion for farming has existed ever since I could remember. Growing up on a farm is most definitely the highlight of my life, and i am so grateful for it. I am passionate about the importance and significance of farming not only in Australia, but the world. I absolutely love the lifestyle of this career path, but also the challenges that are presented day in and out.

Best days of being a farmer:

- dream farm is located in the riverina, perhaps river side - mixed farm (50/35/15, cropping, sheep, cattle) - rise early, cool morning, sunshine spring day. - looking across the rolling hills - roll out feed My dream farm would likely be located around the Riverina, however I am definitely open to further and new locations. I would definitely love to run a mixed farm, with about 50% cropping, 35% sheep and 15% cattle. The best days would involve rising early, to a cool morning on a warm Spring day. I'd be out and about first thing, taking out some feed where needed and checking up on the stock and crops. The day would be filled with management tasks that help me put my farm in the best shape possible moving forward. A few challenges here and there but the end of the day (like most) would be full of satisfaction for the incredible lifestyle I have.
